Erasmus Plus is the 2014-2020 European Union programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport

The programme, approved with EU Regulation No. 1288/2013 of the European Parliament and Council, combines and integrates all the funding mechanisms implemented by the European Union until 2013:

  • The Lifelong Learning Programme (Comenius,Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig)
  • Youth in Action
  • The five International cooperation programmes (Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulinkand the bilateral cooperation programme with the industrialised countries).

It also includes the Jean MonnetActivities and for the first time ever offers support for Sport

The Programme is managed in Italy by the AgenziaNazionale Erasmus (www.erasmusplus.it).

The Carlo Bo University of Urbino can participate in the programme and compete for the funding offered under the new programme “ERASMUS +” for Education, Training, Youth and Sport in the period 2014 – 2020 because the European Commission has approved the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.
