The University of Urbino Carlo Bo promotes the hospitality of foreign professors and researchers in order to widen its educational offer, to strengthen cooperation in research and to intensify its relations with other Higher Education and Research Institutions worldwide. Every year, the University hosts Visiting Professors and Visiting Researchers to foster the internationalisation in the field of Education and Research.
Visiting Professors are scholars affiliated to EU and extra-EU Higher Education and Research Institutions, taking on teaching activities within BA, MA and PhD courses, and cooperating with the University’s research units, spending in Urbino at least 30 days continuously.
Visiting Researchers are scholars affiliated to EU and extra-EU Higher Education and Research Institutions, taking on research programmes in cooperation with the University’s research units, and who can be involved in teaching activities, spending in Urbino at least 30 days continuously.
Shorter periods of stay are allowed for Short-term Visiting Professors and Short-term Visiting Researchers, spending in Urbino a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 days continuously.
