Saurabh Annadate is a post-doctoral researcher specializing in estimating greenhouse gas emissions using inverse modelling techniques. His research focuses on advancing methodologies to address GHG estimation, particularly through Lagrangian particle dispersion models and Bayesian inversion methods.

During his PhD, Saurabh focused on refining inverse modelling techniques to estimate F-gas emissions. His work combines ground-based high-frequency observations and atmospheric transport modelling to bridge the gap between top-down and bottom-up emission estimates. Currently, Saurabh Annadate is contributing to the Horizon Europe project Process Attribution of Regional Emissions (PARIS), leading efforts to estimate European black carbon (BC) emissions and refine the wet deposition parameterization for BC emissions in the FLEXPART model.
