Obiettivi Formativi
The course has three main objectives:
1. Provide the basic tools to examine the dynamics of the company's behavior, both in the ways in which it interacts with the external environment, and as regards the internal processes of the company itself;
2. To deepen the theme of business variety from the point of view of sectorial belonging (manufacturing and services sector, traditional and innovative sectors), size (small, medium, large enterprises), location (eg district businesses, multinational companies);
3. Develop the ability to use the tools and methodologies discussed in the lessons for the analysis and management of business reality.
Programma
The first part of the course concerns the analysis of the relationship between business and external environment and the variety of types of business that emerge on the basis of dimensional criteria and localization context.
The second part of the course focuses on the strategic dimension, deepening the growth processes of the companies and the main choices at the corporate and competitive strategy level. This analysis is completed by an examination of the main organizational configurations of the companies and by the methods of financing the growth processes.
The third part examines the main lines of the company's development processes, in an external key (projection in international markets, emphasis on socially responsible behavior) and in an internal key, with particular emphasis on processes related to technological innovation, operational activities ( production, purchasing, logistics) and relations with the market (marketing and distribution processes).
