Obiettivi Formativi

The aim of the course is to provide the student with a thorough understanding of some of the main topics about entrepreneurship and small and medium-sized enterprises’ features. Special emphasis is placed on family business management and on recent trends in entrepreneurship, especially the growing entrepreneurial role of women and immigrants.

Knowledge and understanding: knowledge of characteristics of entrepreneurship and small firms, with particular attention to family businesses and "new entrepreneurs";

Applying knowledge and understanding: ability to apply knowledge acquired and to understand and solve problems concerning entrepreneurship and small businesses;

Making judgements: ability to develop a systemic view of knowledge acquired during the course and to face  complex problems on its own and with an own judgement ability;

Communication skills: acquire a clear and effective communication skill, thanks to the acquisition of a good mastery of vocabulary on the topics covered during the course;

Learning skills: acquire a good ability to learn and to study also independently issues about entrepreneurship and small businesses, in order to deepen knowledge acquired during the course.

Modalità didattiche

The course will consist of lectures and class discussions in Italian. Arrangements could be made with the course instructor for meetings to assist English speaking students in the preparation of the exam.

Oral examination in Italian or written examination in English.

Disabilità e DSA
