At the University of Urbino, the language of instruction is Italian.
There is one PhD programme entirely taught in English — PhD in Global Studies, Economy, Society and Law. However, linguistic support in other languages is offered for most courses.
Linguistic support – Courses taught in foreign languages
Types of Courses Offered in a Language Other than Italian
- Courses "entirely in a foreign language" - These courses are offered entirely in a foreign language. Students can opt to take the final exam in the foreign language.
- "Mixed" courses - In these courses, classes are partially in Italian and partially in another language. Study materials can be provided in the foreign language, and students may take the final exam in the foreign language.
- Courses "supported by a foreign language" - These courses are taught in Italian. The final exam and study materials can be in a foreign language upon students’ request.
