Dr. Nicola Searle will discuss her research on the copyright (diritto d’autore) in regulatory debates. The talk covers legal, economic and sociological aspects of copyright and global regulatory debates. She will then cover a case study of copyright narratives in the UK, and discuss the tensions between artists like Taylor Swift and technology platforms such as TikTok.
