Learning Objectives

The fundamental purpose of the social psychology course is to introduce students to an understanding of socio-psychological processes of knowledge, representation and action in the social reality underlying the links between individuals and others (other individuals or groups of individuals ), in relation to social objects with which individuals themselves are in contact. A key way of achieving this goal involves the acquisition of appropriate language to explain these processes going beyond the linguistic code used by the common sense to explain social phenomena in which people play the role of observers or protagonists.
As for the book to be chosen has opted for a text written directly by one of the protagonists of the history of social psychology, on a very topical issue and involving the emotional and not only scientifically, so as to bring the student to deal directly with the search and exposure of the theory.
