Learning Objectives
Provide knowledge for the use of the financial functions available in Excel spreadsheet for the drafting of plans for amortization of loans in various systems (French, German, Italian, etc ..) and to evaluate the advantages and the actual return on investment the cost / effective rate of financing operations and leasing (this through the various financial methods: IRR, NPV, etc ...)
Program
- The principal financial functions in Excel: their use and their syntax.
- The construction of an amortization schedule for a mortgage according to the French method by using the functions PMT, PPMT, INTEREST, VALATT Excel
- The use of the function VALFUT for the construction of floors of accumulation of capital
- The use of the functions VA and NPV to evaluate the advantages of investment operations or financing transaction or leasing
- The use of the functions RATE and IRR for the calculation of the effective rate of investment operations or financing or leasing

Alternatively, students who do not want or can not attend the seminar can attend the exam during the ordinary exam sessions a test application on financial functions in Excel.

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

The seminar is held IN ONE DAY A YEAR at the end of the 2nd semester, on a date that is agreed upon with the students and that is promptly publicized both in the home page of the School of Economics and in the teacher's web page.
