D2-APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING The students has to demonstrate the ability to recognize the most common underlying mechanisms of disease.
D3-MAKING JUDGEMENTS The student has to acquire knowledge to enable him to recognize the mechanisms responsible for the development of a disease and to identify specific pathological conditions with the possibility of application in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

- Assessment
Oral examination preceded by a written test. The written test will consist of a multiple choice test since it intends to assess the basic knowledge about the main mechanisms responsible for the development of diseases. The oral exam will be a deepening of the basic knowledge.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
