Learning Objectives

The course will focus on the study of journalistic language. We analyse linguistic texts in various journalistic styles after which they will be translated into Italian, with a focus on the intrinsic linguistic and cultural difficulties.

4. Phonetic and paralinguistic peculiarities.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

We will analyse representative texts of journalistic style, with a focus on the following: press releases, articles, interviews and news reports, in order to adequately address problems which arise in the translation of these texts.

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
