Learning Objectives

Acquisition of methodological knowledge, teaching design skills and implementation of educational projects for the growing age inherent in winter sports.

Knowing how to implement and manage simulation lessons and sectors of teaching units aimed at preparing for the week of ski education and mountain education.

Program

Preparation of coordinative and conditional motor skills; operational proposals for the developmental age, general and specific athletic training with the use of the free body, small and large tools, isotonic and cardio vascular machines.

Didactic, methodological and logistical organization of groups, interdisciplinary work (physical and environmental education), acquisition of healthy and permanent lifestyles, rules of behavior, compliance with the laws in force on mountain safety, accident prevention.

Types of winter sports; Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing; snowshoe hiking and possible interactions with interdisciplinary work (biowatching, visits to natural parks, nature reserves, etc.).

The choice of the aforementioned internship involves participation in the week of ski education organized by the School of Motor Sciences.

As part of the internship, compatibly with the facilities available to its location, you can choose from the following specializations:

   - Alpine skiing

   - Snowboarding

   - Cross country skiing

The winter sports training is repeatable, with the understanding that the specialties chosen for WINTER SPORTS 1 and WINTER SPORTS 2 must be different.

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
