Learning Objectives

The course aims to acquire methodological knowledge, interdisciplinary teaching, through adequate practical and operational experience carried out in a mountain environment in the implementation of educational projects for different user groups related to winter sports, mountain education in respect of the environment, ecosystems. To acquire full awareness in the prevention of injuries, dangers and risks related to the biotic and abiotic mountain environment in the performance of winter motor and sports activities.

Knowing how to implement and manage simulation lessons and teaching unit sectors aimed at preparing the week of ski education and mountain education for different users and age groups.

Program

Physical-athletic preparation, coordinative and conditional skills, operational proposals for different groups of users with the use of different equipment, weights, free body, isotonic and cardiovascular machines.

Coordinative skills, dynamic balance, motor transference.

Educational, methodological and logistical organization of the groups, interdisciplinary work, (physical and environmental education), acquisition of healthy and permanent living habits, rules of behavior, knowledge of the rules, compliance with the laws and regulations in force concerning mountain safety, prevention of accidents and accidents in the mountains.

Acquisition of basic techniques of one or more winter sports disciplines of your choice, such as alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snowshoe hiking. Interaction with interdisciplinary work and knowledge where possible, (visits to natural mountain parks, nature reserves, naturalistic oases, bio-watching, knowledge of the biotic, abiotic and historical-anthropic factors of the mountain ecosystem).

Participation in the organization of the school's ski education week, knowing how to share moments of educational socialization, animation, respecting the rules, of oneself and of the environment.

Lessons: the theoretical-practical preparatory lessons held on site and all the lessons with the ski instructors during the entire week of instruction and the exercises of free or accompanied skiing are mandatory.

Written evaluation and distance study, bibliographic research on specific topics and course contents. In itinere a specific in-depth bibliography will be recommended.
