Learning Objectives
The course, focused on the study of noun morphology (Level A2/TBU). It aims to offer the student the theoretical framework of reference of the main systems of declension of the Russian noun, examining gradually the functions of the cases without prepositions and of the cases with prepositions. The course will also dedicate a suitable space to the formation of words, analyzing, in particular, some suffixes that are used in the formation of nouns.

I. The noun The grammatical categories of the noun The gender of nouns The three types of declension (singular and plural) Consonant and vowel alternation II. Use of cases without prepositions The name The genitive The dative The accusative The instrumental III. Using cases with prepositions The genitive The dative The accusative The instrumental The prepositive IV. Word formation Suffixes that occur in diminutives and endearments.
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
Knowledge and understanding: The student demonstrates being able to read, understand and recognize the inflections of the noun in the simple clause using prepositions when necessary. He is able in turn to formulate simple propositions, making use of grammatical and lexical elements corresponding to level A2.
Applied knowledge and understanding: The student is able to decline the noun in the singular and plural, to formulate commonly used expressions corresponding to elementary level A2. In the context of word formation, he is also capable of juggling the morphological analysis of the noun, recognizing its root, termination and any suffixes and prefixes.
Making judgements: The student is able to distinguish simple sentences that are correct from sentences that are not, to pause, reflect and evaluate morphological errors, especially those that interfere with communication.
Communication skills: at the end of the course, the student is able to use the basic lexical and grammatical structures of the language (level A2).
Learning skills: the student acquires the basic theoretical and practical tools to progress in self-study aimed at negotiated objectives on elementary topics relating to the morphology of the noun (Level A2).

- Assessment
Oral, written exams and language tests. The final exam will evaluate metalinguistic knowledge and language skills at the required level. In particular, the assessment will test the following skills: writing (33% of all votes), oral (33%) and metalinguistic knowledge (33%). The metalinguistic exam ("monographic course") is a written test. They consist of 31 multiple choice questions in Italian, mainly to evaluate both the knowledge acquired and the applied understanding skills (time available: 45 minutes). The use of dictionaries is not permitted during this test. The criteria for evaluating the test are: - relevance and correctness of the answers with respect to the contents of the program - ability to apply knowledge to specific cases - ability to critically reflect on concepts and processes - knowledge of metal language Any grade for the "monographic" course lower than 18/30 does not constitute a pass.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
