Themes
The Summer School Greek Meter and Rhythm study programme aims at a scientific introduction to the subject of meter and rhythm, ancient music culture, the main problem that link meter to ecdotics and hermeneutics - general principles and history of the subject - introduction to prosody - the meter of acting - lyrical meter - the structures of versification - the transmission and critical tradition of the versified text - notions of rhythm and ancient music and iconographic references to the history of ancient art.
