LEVEL TWO INTER-UNIVERSITY MASTERS IN THE NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT OF SPECIFIC LEARNING DISORDERS University of Urbino Carlo Bo, University of the Republic of San Marino and the University of Modena Reggio Emilia The Masters, lasting one year, aims to train psychologists and doctors, in particular children’s neuro-psychiatrists and paediatricians, in order to make diagnoses and carry out integrated treatment for specific learning disorders. The course intends to offer individuals, healthcare and education organisations with consultancy, diagnosis, treatment and prevention services in the realm of learning disabilities in the childhood and adolescence. On completion of the Masters, the professional: will know how to examine the clinical and neuro-psycho-behavioural characteristics of the most common developmental disorders that cause learning difficulties. will be able to make diagnoses and plan screening programmes aimed at identifying the early signs of disorders. The most current IT and technological tools for learning support will also be presented, in order to define and assess a full re-education project and verify its efficacy.
