Learning Objectives
Themes
The Master is mainly aimed at answering the needs for digital upskilling clearly highlighted by international studies on tertiary education, professional development, job market, and development. The first target group are graduates in all disciplines, willing to acquire digital skills and competences complementary to those typical of their degrees, in order to be more competitive in the job market. The second target group is composed of employees willing to update and improve their digital skills, for personal improvement, for position advancement, or to take active part in the digital transformation of their companies. The master course takes an interdisciplinary approach, encompassing both theoretical and practical aspects, to provide competences, knowledge, and skills required to become fully aware of the potential of disruptive digital technologies, of their ethical implications, of their socio-economic impact, and of their applicability to any specific field. The Master program is also aimed at contrasting the gender gap in ICT, by providing equal opportunities to acquire digital competences regardless the cultural background and the main field of study.

Objectives
Targeting graduates of all disciplines, the Master improves participants’ competitiveness in their specific job markets, while also opening the opportunity of applying for positions characterized by strong interdisciplinary needs. In particular, the competences and skills provided by the master are especially on demand in those companies and institutions undergoing digital transformation processes. The Master programme can also be used by graduates of all disciplines to meet the admission requirements of ICT-oriented MS programmes.
Contents and structure of the course / Syllabus
Activities of PhD Students
The programme is split into two teaching periods with 5 courses each, for a total of 45 ECS.
All teaching activities are delivered online.
At the end of each teaching period a residential week is organized in Urbino to allow students to meet their professors and peers, to discuss the course topics, to finalize their projects and to take exams.
Apart for the 10 courses, the programme includes seminars on digital transformation (for 3 ECS), project work (6 ECS) and master thesis (6 ECS).

Course structure and research training
Discussion of a project work and a report prepared under the supervision of one of the lecturers and conducted in cooperation with one of the partner companies: TeamSystem, ForumPA, or DIGIT srl.
