Themes
The course aims to train students on the preparation of the questionnaire to support market surveys. The questionnaire is a fundamental tool, influencing the quality of the research and the reliability of the information it obtains. Its definition requires particular care and attention, so that it can be functional to the objectives of the research, be it qualitative or quantitative. The process of constructing a questionnaire usually consists of two basic steps:
- identifying, based on the aims of the research and the results to be obtained, the type of questionnaire to be administered;
- choose the type of questions to be used to obtain a specific type of answer and information.
The course aims to provide an in-depth knowledge on the main issues/ problems related to the preparation of the questionnaire, depending on the type of research (qualitative vs. quantitative) and the nature of the objective pursued (exploratory, descriptive, confirmatory).
