Learning Objectives
Themes
Reality is complex; statistics can be thought of as the formalization of common sense. The course aims to provide the methodological basis for understanding and obtaining the maximum possible information from situations of uncertainty. In particular, probabilistic problems and situations in which the use of an inferential approach (from the particular to the general) will be addressed. Examples will be taken from reality, such as the COVID pandemic, the risk to get diseases.
