The course aims to introduce the principles of ecological transition with a focus on the transformations that will occur in economic and social systems. It will be divided into two parts:
- the principles and rules of the ecological transition and circular economy processes;
- the description and the analysis of the impacts that the processes related to the ecological transition will have on the socio-economic activities of Western economies.

The course aims to introduce the principles of “ecological transition” with a focus on the transformations that will occur in Western economic and social systems. Possible changes in the production of goods and services and food products as well as in individual consumption will be outlined.
The course consists of No. 2 lectures of 3 hours each divided as follows:
- Ecological transition and circular economy. Principles and rules.
- Analysis of the impact that the ecological transition process will have on the socio-economic activities of Western economies.

Ecological Transition, Circular Economy, Socio-Economic Transformations.
The badge is given to all those students who achieve a valuation of at least 70% during the practical exercises performed during the course (comprehension quiz at the end of each class and the final group work).
Course participants develop an understanding of what the ecological transition consists of and what is meant by the circular economy. Particular attention will be given to understanding the transformation processes that will occur in Western economic and social systems.
Students improve their ability to adapt to changes in the economic and social contexts of the society in which they live. Changes that are induced by the ecological transition and processes related to the circular economy.
