Learning Objectives
The course aims to:
Develop students' knowledge and understanding of
of what the Russians consider a value
Develop students' critical analysis and judgement of the cultural genealogy of these values
Program
The course will analyze the results of recent researches about Russians' values after the shocking end of the Soviet experience
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
Recognize and appreciate the values coming from cultures different from one's own
Identify the cultural genealogy of these values
Begin to engage with the methods used in the observation of a society's values

- Assessment
Beginning with academic year 2014-15 the exam is written. The exam consists of 10 open-ended questions and it lasts 50 minutes.
Evaluation criteria (for each answer): Adequacy (2 points), Logical organization (1/2 point), Grammatical appropriateness (1/2 point).
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
