Learning Objectives
Students will need to understand the relationship between ancient culture and modern and contemporary culture, so as to acquire the linguistic, hermeneutical and cognitive tools to investigate historically and functionally any creative phenomenon of our time. They will also be able to read and interpret ancient literary texts, comparing them with the various 'rewrites' at later dates.
