Learning Objectives

The course aims to provide students with the coordinates of a new epistemology of professional practices and of a coherent quality training, in light of the complex and unpredictable challenges of modernity, in the perspective of lifelong learning. 

In Particular, the course aims to examine the issue of the training to the reflective thinking of teachers. the analysis will be conducted both from the point of view of theoretical foundations, that of the possible methodological and operational dimensions, with references to the initial training and in-service  of the teachers

In relation to the pedagogy of the student training must show possession:

- The mastery of basic knowledge about the models of teacher training;

- Understanding of the basic concepts of the discipline, with reference to the reflective thinking as a paradigm of a new professional epistemology;

- The ability to use knowledge and concepts to reason according to the logic of the discipline, in order to initial and in-service teacher.
 

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

Supporting Activities

Exercises - supplementary seminars. It provides for the holding of two seminars:

The first seminar will be titled "host communities and communities of thought". He will be coordinated by the teacher, prof. Maria-Chiara Michelini with assistance of Dr. G. Sortino and Dr. C. Bernardini community for mothers with children and refugee reception centers of the foundation onlus Sagrini of Fermo. It will take place on April 12, 2016

The second seminar will be titled "HOW TO MAKE A THESIS", conducted by Prof. Maria-Chiara Michelini. It will take place on March 16, with a duration of four hours. The seminar also includes a part of practical simulation.

Assessment

The objectives are verified by an oral interview as it seeks to establish the basic knowledge related to the current conception of reflective thinking in the professions, particularly with regard to teaching, also considered in European key. In this perspective also it means assessing the knowledge of the models and initial training strategy and in-service teacher.

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

Additional Information for Non-Attending Students

Teaching

Non-attending students will still be able to access Moodle> blended.uniurb.it platform where will be placed all the material made available by the teacher and those used in the lectures and seminars.

Through the same platform will play the exercises suggested by the teacher.
