Aim of the course is to provide students the necessary knowledge of medical device and cosmetic products.

The student will be able to
1. Learn from the regulatory point of view the main regulations concerning Medical Devices
2. Know the classification of medical devices
3. Know the main laws governing cosmetic products
4. Guide the customer who comes into Pharmacy to choosing the most appropriate cosmetic
5. Know the major classes of substances used in the preparation of cosmetic products
6. Know the main cosmetic formulations and be able to set a formulation scheme
7. Know how to read and interpret key data label of a commercial cosmetic product in order to assess the quality
8. know the main methods of manufacture of cosmetic products and the main quality requirements.
