As more subjects as possible related to the Engineering Geology are strongly recommended.
A good basis on maths, physics and statistics, is recommended.
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
At the course end the student should demonstrate to have acquired the following skills:1) to synthesize the basics acquired in the twoo educational cycles in relation to the Engineering Geology;2) to afford autonomously and critically all the problems related to the Engineering Geology;3) to integrate the knowledges in order to analyse the processes and manage the complexities;4) to transfer and communicate the results of the computed processes for the best problem solution.

Teaching, Attendance, Course Books and Assessment

- Attendance
Attendance is not mandatory but strongly recommended: besides, a basic knowledge of scientific English is required.The knowledge of Engineering Geology principles (i.e. Geotechnical Engineering) as well as of maths, physics and statistics are warmly recommended.

- Assessment
Oral examination, intermediate written exam and/or technical report (optionals).
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
