Learning Objectives
Put the students able to carry out a literature search for the realization of a scientific work, according to the criteria used in this field / Put able to use the sources found and to draw up a final bibliography / To provide the basic elements for the preparation and evaluation of scientific works, including the final dissertation.

General and specific characteristics of scientific works (books, essays in the volume, scientific journal articles, reports and communications at conferences) / Structure of a scientific article / Articulation of the text of a scientific paper / Structure of a scientific book / Apparatus of the notes / Bibliographic apparatus / Literature search: what is and what is its function / Types of bibliographic search / How to conduct bibliographic research: main resources and procedures (existing bibliographies, library, emeroteca, bibliographic databases) / PsycInfo, PsycArticles, other online databases / Differential bibliographic criteria for volumes with author, volumes with editors, essays in a book, scientific journal articles / Standards of the American Psychological Association (APA) / Criteria for the preparation of the final bibliography / Final dissertation and thesis as scientific texts (title page, index, introduction and conclusions, quotes [textual sentences and paraphrases], indicating the sources in the text, footnotes, final bibliographic references).

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
In relation to the Bibliographic search, the student must show possession:
- The mastery of basic skills;
- Understanding of the search criteria of the sources and preparation of reference list of a scientific work;
- The ability to use the knowledge acquired for bibliographic research in the scientific field of psychology and for the preparation of bibliographic apparatus of a scientific text.

Teaching, Attendance, Course Books and Assessment
- Teaching
Will be taken teaching methods including, in addition to direct exposure, especially the group discussion and conducting experiences and/or tutorials. There will also be visits scheduled at the Central Library and Emeroteca of the University, with the collaboration of librarians, who will describe the available resources, including those online, and their procedures for access and consultation.

The student is required to attend at least 75% of laboratory hours in the classroom.

It is provided an ongoing evaluation and a final test, respectively related to the preparation of a bibliography by authors and a bibliography by subject.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
