Learning Objectives
a) Knowledge of the basic fundamentals related to:
fundamental concepts of computer operating systems
b) utilization of software for: data processin (spreadsheet); presentations.
The student should acquire the ability to use the spreadsheet,
and he should be able to build simple database, using the main statistical functions,
graphical representations of functions, calculations of functions
c) bibliographical research on dedicated databases
Program
Basics of computing and operating systems.
Spreadsheet : cell format, conditional formatting, filtering.
Absolute, relative and mixed references: main mathematical and statistical functions.
Main logic operators : IF , AND, OR. The nested IF.
Examples of computer programming: applications in pharmaceuticals and biology..
Computer presentations; structures and examples for the organization of an oral presentation
Bibliographical research on dedicated databases

In relation to Computer Skills, students must obtain
- the mastery of basic skills,
- understanding of the fundamental concepts of the discipline
- the ability to use knowledge and tools of the discipline.

No specific handbook. Any handbook can be used

At least 10 hours of the course must be attended; oral or written exam
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
