D1. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING The student must demonstrate that they have acquired the knowledge concerning feeding and nutrition for human health; methods of prevention; food safety legislation.Students can achieve those knowledges through attendance to lessons and seminars, and studying teaching material indicated by the teacher.

D2. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING The student must show to be able to delineate research topics, find information and data, with theoretical and empirical insights. Classroom discussions, seminars, and bibliographic research will help you get better results.

D3. MAKING JUDGEMENTS The student must demonstrate that they critical and in-depth reflection on the related food influencing issues on welfare and on the prevention of diseases. These skills will be gained in the classroom discussion with the teacher and colleagues in the classroom interaction as well as in the discussion phase of the exam

D4. COMMUNICATION SKILLS The student must show to be able to support a debate with people with the same experience and preparation on different topics of regulatory, scientific, procedural.

D5. LEARNING SKILLS The student must acquire the capacity for independent judgment and be able to apply the acquired knowledge in the exercise of the profession and for research. The student will be able to consult and understand scientific texts, also innovative, bibliographical updates, regulatory dictates.

Assessment

Oral examination

Oral examination on at least 3 different arguments of the course. The final aim is the evaluation of the acquired knowledge and the ability to link different temes. In addition the ability to present and communicate and to solve practical problems will also be considered. The answers will be rated also on the bases of the use of a correct language and proper specific therminology.For students with DSA certification, the applicable provisions are valid according to Law 170/2010

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
