Teaching, Attendance, Course Books and Assessment

Teaching

Front lessons (Italian) with PC and video-projector (Power Point).

Course books

Claudio Longo, Giovanna Marziani, Biologia delle piante, UTET

E. Maugini, L. Maleci Bini, M. mariotti Lippi Manuale di Botanica Farmaceutica

Assessment

Oral examination with 3 questions. The oral examination is evaluated with a score in thirtieths.

The aim of the oral exam is to verify the student  preparation regarding plant biology. The questions will concern respectively a cytology topic, a topic of histology (tissues and organs) and a topic of plant physiology among those reported on the program and treated in class. If the number of students enrolled in the exam exceeds 10 units, the exam will be written and the student will have to answer in three hours to three open questions as above. The written test is evaluated in thirtieths.

After passing  the eventual written test, no further oral examination is required.

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
