A discreet general competence of the English language as a communicative ielement n the area of coprorate English and economics. The linguistic level is B2 in the European Standard -Intermediate level.

By the end of the course students should have:

a knowledge and understanding of the make up of English as used

in advertising and marketing and have acquired a substantial specialised vocabulary.

Should be able to apply this knowledge to business situations.

Should be able to make judgements and communicate the language learnt

Should have the necessarylearning skilld to understand, listen,read and write typical business  situations.

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

Supporting Activities

Lettori and collaboratori will hold group tutorage to help and develope linguistic competences in a corporate context.

Assessment

Written and oral exams in English.

The oral or written exan(Monografico) will be based on the Taylor notes, tVocabulary In Use and the introduction of Mailing-Internet Business Writing.

Due to the large number of students the test willprobably  be written.

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

Notes
