Learning Objectives
1) the students will know the history of Italian Literature from the origins to the XVII century
2) the students will know the main questions about Italian Writing travel (topics, authors, stylistic features)

1) The Italian Literature from the origins to the XVIIIth century
2) The travel Writing in Italian Lietrature
Bridging Courses
The students should know the development of Italian Literature from the XII to the XVIII century
The students should be able to talk about literary questions in a correct and accurate language

At the end of the course the students will
- know the history of Italian Lietrature from the origins to the XVIII century
- to link the main authors to the hystorical contest
- discuss the main critical issues about Travel Literature and Travel Writing

During the lessons the teacher will introduce the main topics as well as the main critical discussions and will discuss with the students in a dialogue useful to a deep comprehension of the subject

- Assessment
The students will be evalueted on a written test with 2/3 questions on the programme (Italian Literature and Travel Literature).
The will be given an evaluation in marks out of 30 according to the content the expose, the accuracy of the language and tha ability to discuss critical questions.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
