Learning Objectives
The course aims to provide students with the theoretical and methodological elements necessary in order to:
1. Identify the meanings, uses and problems of assessment in kindergarten and primary school (from the assessment in the classroom assessment system level);
2. know the use of the different instruments and procedures aimed at evaluation and self-assessment of learning of the students and the school system;
3. know and use the main methods of educational research.
Program
The lectures will be devoted mainly to the following topics:
- General issues of educational research
- Functions, forms and timing of the evaluation
- Characteristics and use of measuring instruments of learning
- Characteristics and use of the instruments deputies to the evaluation system

In relation to the student discipline:
- show the possession of the mastery of basic knowledge related to the main lines of the epistemological debate within the assessment accordingly with particular reference to its constituent elements (problems and methods) and to relations with the teaching; the characteristics of the theoretical and methodological approaches of the assessment accordingly;
- show an understanding of the concepts and theories provided by the course; It must recognize the fundamental stages dell'assesment and the Educational evaluation; You must be able to analyze the characteristics of some assessment tools and possible evaluation procedures in education;
- show the possession of the ability to use knowledge and concepts that allow to reason according to the specific logic of the discipline. Must be able, in particular, to identify tests appropriate evaluation to the contexts, to simulate doses, of being able to envisage different research hypotheses according to the evaluation objects to be monitored.

- Assessment
Open rehearsal writing ( short essay) as it seeks to establish the ability to use knowledge and concepts that allow to reason according to the specific logic of the discipline , to identify appropriate evaluation tools to the context , to simulate doses , of being able to envisage hypotheses different search according to the evaluation objects to be monitored.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
