Learning Objectives

The course aims to direct the student to the use of techniques and methods for the detection and graphical representation for the purposes of their analytical and synthetic problems of the graphic documentation for the restoration of cultural heritage.

CAD course provides all the essential information necessary to use properly and independently AUTOCAD program both in two-dimensional three-dimensional mode.

The course will develop a number of applications with digital survey instruments.

1. Survey for documentation and 2D graphics - (8 hours)

1.1 applications to represent the state of conservation of the works and restoration works

2. The topographical survey for cultural heritage (6 hours)

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

Ability to analyze the structure of the graphic works of figurative art and recognition of the geometric shape of the building in relation to its position in space. Ability to represent and model with digital scale artifacts instruments through different methods and techniques of graphic representation, ability to identify and reconstruct the two-dimensional and three-dimensional methods of representation.

Teaching

The course consists of a series of lectures about the framework of the discipline and application examples. Are expected to complement the lectures, practical exercises to develop a form of awareness, the degree of visual education and the ability to translate through the medium of graphic representation of cultural property in the plane and in space.

Attendance

Recommended frequency of lessons.
And practical exercises are an integral part of the final preparation and should be completed in all their parts.

Assessment

The exam consists of an oral test that includes an interview on the topics included in the program with a question for each topic that will be assessed in 30ths: for each question (18-22 for sufficient answers; 23-27 for discrete answers with some shortcomings in the ownership of the topic; 28-30 for good answers that demonstrate the properties of the topic and technical language). The oral exam also provides for the evaluation of the summary exercises concerning the topics covered during the lessons and in the presentation and evaluation of the graphic designs produced in the context of the exercises (individual and / or group research paper) always evaluated in 30th following the criteria for completeness of the exercise, correct execution, correct presentation.

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

Notes

For the computer side, it recommends the use of a PC with Windows operating system in the latest versions.
