Learning Objectives

The course aims to provide the student with the essential legal knowledge and skills related to the sports phenomenon, which is analyzed in its multiple aspects, enhancing the fundamental principles, rules and legal concepts for understanding the related practical problems, including in an international perspective. The training is designed to be functional to the professional career opportunities of the sector (in particular, in the technical sports and managerial sector).

The sports organization; The existing physical and legal subjects in national and international sports; membership and membership; the sporting crime; sports responsibilities; the sports work relationship; the various protections of athletes (health, insurance and social security); sports contracts; violence in sports events; national and international sports justice; doping.

The student must demonstrate the acquisition of institutional knowledge related to: the national and international sports system; sports responsibilities; the regulation of the most widespread sports contracts; doping (with regard to regulation at national and global level); national and international sports justice. The student must also demonstrate an understanding of the concepts and theories included in the course; must be able to analyze and interpret the practical cases related to the topics addressed during the course
