- Assessment
Students will have to demonstrate that they are able to translate and comment on Catullus' texts proposed in class and to be able to evaluate the translational choices of Italian poets who have tried to restore the Catullian style. Students must demonstrate that they have an adequate knowledge of the Latin language, guaranteed by a written, mandatory and preliminary assessment test, which can not be sustained in case of failure to pass the exam itself. The proof will consist of questions on the morphology and syntax of the Latin language and the translation of a passage taken from the work of an author of the Latin literature, with the possibility of using the dictionary. The level of knowledge of Latin and the subjects required for passing the exam correspond to the knowledge and skills reached through a path - not compulsory, but open to all students who feel the need - extracurricular training of Latin 0. On the program work planned for the Latin educational path 0 and the skills and knowledge required for the test of knowledge of the Latin language, detailed information will be available both on the Blended Learning platform and on the site of the School of Arts Arts Philosophy. The results of the test will be made available on the Blended Learning platform (Moodle).

A tal fine, è necessario inviare le mappe, due settimane prima dell’appello di esame, alla o al docente del corso, che ne verificherà la coerenza con le indicazioni delle linee guida di ateneo e potrà chiederne la modifica.
