Learning Objectives
Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
Program
Working through the Study Book My Grammar Lab covering all aspects of grammar. Studying the use of Phrasal Verbs and Idiomatic phrases. Students will be encouraged to speak in English at all times for discussion sessions, role play and general conversation.
Teaching Material
The teaching material prepared by the language assistant in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the language assistant specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
