Learning Objectives
the course includes 80 hours yearly and his mane objectif is to make the students acquire and achieve the B1 level of linguistic competence (CEFR) by develloping comunication habilities (comprehension and oral production), related to the arabic language in addition to reading and writing skills.)
At the end of this course the students should be abble to:
understand and analyze authentic functional and literary texts, documents relating to daily life; write passages on common topics; draft a formal and informal letter; accept or decline a written invitation; express their feelings and opinions; talk about their interests and interact according to the indications of the (CEFR) for the indicate level.
Authentic paper and audiovisual documents will be used: songs, video clips, cartoons, documentaries, films, literary texts, functional documents ( boarding pass, menus, timetables, various forms), games.
Program
- the geography of the Arab countries.
- the food: (typical dishes of some Arab countries, the preparation of recipes, the cookie utensils)
- Clothing (traditional and modern, ask, buy and pay in a shop)
- Hobby (place over time, date and time)
- Character description(quality and defects, zodiac signs a personality)
- How to write a formal and informal letter.
