Learning Objectives
1) To know the mail features of the European and Italian novel in the Modernist Age
2) To be able to analyze a novel or a short tale from a tematic o stylistic point of view
3) To be able to make connection between a novel and the cultural and hystorical backround

Teaching, Attendance, Course Books and Assessment
- Teaching
In the lessons the teacher will explain the main tematic and stylistic features of the novel and short tales in Italian and European background and she also will read some tales by Pirandello to introduce a method to analyse a literary text.
The attending students will be provided with workshop handouts

The students are expected to read news and messages on the blended platform
They are requested to attend the lessons and bringing the books whose texts will be read at lesson
They are requested to study the program to pass the exam

Module C. The novel in Modernist Literature (CLIL Module)
- Assessment
The students will face a written tex with questions on the main topics of the program
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
