Learning Objectives
The course aims to show the potentialities offered by GIS systems of organization and management of research, design and restoration work in the field of Cultural Heritage. GIS technology, already applied in disciplines such as archeology and museum management, revealed, on the one hand, its extraordinary potentiality as a tool for managing information and, on the other hand, the relative difficulty, connected to the spread of its use in the conservative practice.
