Learning Objectives

The degree course in Exercise, Sports and Health Sciences represents the natural evolution of the experiences gained in previous courses and arises from the need to respond more adequately to the significant changes that society has undergone in recent years, as well as from a continuous transformation of professional activities. To this end, the course activates a training course that, through knowledge of the anatomical, physiological and biochemical aspects, allows you to learn the biological basis of movement and adaptations to physical exercise. In addition, the training course provides for the learning of motor and sports techniques and methodologies aimed at measuring and evaluating the effects of physical exercise with particular reference to the biomechanical aspects of movement aimed at implementing programs for the recovery of gait defects and of postural defects and the use of techniques and tools for a correct performance of motor and sports activity. Furthermore, the pedagogical bases are provided for conducting motor and sporting activity programs at individual and group level in order to interact with subjects of all ages, genders and social conditions, aimed at maintaining and strengthening the psycho-physical well-being of the person. The teaching tools used to achieve these objectives will be lectures, seminars, workshops and technical-practical activities, with periodic and final learning tests.
