Learning Objectives
The course will address the issues aimed at giving sufficient knowledge to correctly activate and manage first aid in various situations that may concern work environments, recreational aggregation etc .. First aid is the help that is given to one or more people waiting for a doctor or qualified personnel and is aimed at:
- Avoid the aggravation of the injured person's condition
- Protect the injured person from further risks
- Promote their survival
Program
1. Health and prevention according to OMS guidelines
2. The lay rescuer: characteristics and tasks
3. Notes on Anatomy and Physiology, the locomotor system.
4. Areas of the human body: the vertebral column, body cavities - Main organs: location and their functioning, vital organs and vital functions
5. Basic Resuscitation Techniques: - CPR, BLS, BLSD, - Operational protocols and emergency alert.
6. The shock
7. Traumatic Injuries - Hemorrhages - Wounds, fractures, bruises, dislocations, - Head trauma, spinal injuries - Injuries to the sense organs
8. Environmental emergencies - Burns - Poisonings - Heat, cold, ice water 9. First aid in case of road accidents and road trauma. - assistance in the event of a car accident
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
t the end of the course, the student must demonstrate:
- Knowledge and understanding: be able to understand the specific terminology relating to human anatomy and basic medicine, to be able to interpret the indications provided by the 118 operator.
- Applying knowledge and understanding: They will also have to know how to apply this knowledge in the practical field by designing motor learning paths taking into account the age of the subject to whom it refers, the characteristics of what must be learned and the specific situations in which a certain movement must be produced.
- Making judgments: The student must be able to apply the methods and techniques in a simulation of a rescue situation.
- Communication skills: The student must have the ability to communicate his / her knowledge correctly and specifically also in written form.
-Learning skills. the student must be able to find information and knowledge on your own using industry publications.
