Learning Objectives
The course guides the student to understand the difficulties in math and how to manage them in their future experience as teachers. It gives also instruments and methods to understand how to help children during the lessons also studying and analysing some cases.
Program
Methods to teach:
- Numbers
- Geometry
- Problems and problem solving (strategies and methods)
The importance of the emotions in the way to approach maths, mistakes and misundertandings and how to correct them.

Oral exam.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
