Learning Objectives
The course is aimed at the acquisition of the fundamental theoretical and methodological principles of Educational planning and didactic. The course aims, in particular, the mastery of concepts, methodologies, and phases that characterize the design. Such knowledge constitutes essential training elements for the exercise of the professionalism of the Pedagogist.
Specifically, the course aims to promote in students the following training objectives:
- to know the concept of competence;
- To know the characteristics of the designer;
- to know the protagonists of the project;
- to know the different typologies of the project, as well as the models and the project orientations;
- to be able to distinguish the main extensions of design competence and their dimensions;
- To know how to use appropriately the language of educational planning;
- to be able to distinguish the principal educational and social needs and the principal instruments for gathering them;
- knowing how to plan the phases of educational and didactic research (analysis of the context, project idea, aims, methodology and organization, results);
- knowing how to identify the areas of educational and social interventions.
Program
The program will focus on the development of the following theoretical-methodological content:
- the development of design competence;
- the extensions of planning competence and their dimensions (analysis of contexts, use of planning models and guidelines, identification of goals and educational needs, activation of processes of sharing and participatory planning, management of space and time, administration of resources);
- the educational and social planning system;
- The protagonists of planning;
- the different types of projects;
- Analysis of educational and social needs;
- Analysis of problems in the educational and social field;
- The context in educational and social planning;
- aims, objectives, and results of the project;
- the mapping of educational and social interventions;
- project action plan.
