Learning Objectives
At the end of the course students will know the main theories and methods of mediation of conflicts not only in the field of family mediation but also in the mediation of conflicts in larger contexts . Students will be able to have a broader view of mediation , its implementation;the macrothem related to the conflict will be studied in depth, trying to see its evolutionary and other critical aspects.
Program
The course wants to provide students with a chance to move , both theoretically and practically , to a knowledge of mediation and its application areas . They will be provided tools and knowledge needed to extricate themselves in the wide application field of conflict mediation and in cultural / social sphere that judicial action . They will address some issues specifically related to:
- techniques and strategies for an alternative resolution of the conflict;
- mediation and the role of the mediator as a neutral third party;
- theories and mediation techniques ;
- the phases of the mediation;
- life cycle and the evolutionary processes of the family;
- psychology of separation and and the dynamics of intergenerational conflict ;
- family mediation;
- differences between mediation and family psychotherapy;
- cultural - linguistic mediation.

in relation to the student discipline you will have to show possession : - The mastery of basic skills ; - Understanding of the basic concepts of the discipline ; - The ability to use knowledge and concepts to reason according to the logic of the discipline; - use of specific and appropriate terminology; - clarity and consistency of exposition.

The course will be conducted through both frontal lessons through the use of active techniques that will allow students greater participation and direct involvement . It will also assess the possibility of exercises and / or group -depth classroom also on scientific articles . seminars and special lectures given by experts in-depth.

Pre-assessment written and oral assessment next mandatory or optional in relation to the written results. Specifications on the review mode and sample questions are available on the website the page dell'esame.Gli students to study courses different from that of "Psychological Sciences and Techniques" will only take the oral part.
Example of evaluation criterion concerning the assignment of scores:
· Less than 18: insufficient level of competence. The candidate does not achieve any of the learning outcomes provided for in the point "mastery of basic knowledge",
18-20: sufficient level of competence. The candidate achieves the learning outcomes provided for in the point "mastery of basic knowledge",
21-23: fully sufficient level of competence. The candidate achieves the learning outcomes envisaged in the points "mastery of basic knowledge", and "understanding of the fundamental concepts of the discipline" by adopting a certain "clarity and expository coherence,
24-26: good level of competence. The candidate achieves the learning outcomes envisaged in the points "knowledge and understanding"; "understanding of the fundamental concepts of the discipline", adopting a certain "clarity and expository coherence,
27-29: very good level of competence. The candidate achieves the learning outcomes envisaged in the points mastery of basic knowledge "," understanding of the fundamental concepts of the discipline "," ability to use knowledge and concepts to reason according to the logic of the discipline "and" use of specific and appropriate terminology ";
30 and 30 cum laude: excellent level of competence. The candidate fully achieves the expected learning outcomes for all the expected learning objectives.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
