Learning Objectives

The course aims at the knowledge of theories relating to the general laws governing the development of human movement, its ontogenesis, the theories on motor learning and its manifestations. The program is divided into two areas. The first studies topics related to terminology problems, human behavior, phases of personality development in relation to human motility development, ontogenesis of basic units of human movement and functional prerequisites. It will also seek to provide a contribution to the knowledge of the factors that predispose to motor performance, the theories on motor learning and the methodologies aimed at its attainment. The second sector, applying with didactic experiences in the gym, focuses on motor and expressive skills, motor skills, their evolution and development, the structure and modes of realization of the human movement, and the use of different teaching / learning methodologies.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

At the end of the course the student must have:

- Knowledge and understanding:
to be able to understand the specific terminology of physical education, to understand the fundamental differences in motor development phases from early childhood to adulthood, to understand the specificity and classification of motor skills and capabilities.

- applyng knowledge and understanding: 
It will also have to know how to apply this knowledge in a practical field by designing motor learning pathways taking into account the age of the subject to which it refers, the characteristics of what needs to be learned and the specific situations in which a certain movement is to be produced.

-Making judgments

The student should be able to apply autonomously and original work methodologies in different contexts from the point of view of sports specialties and the availability of tools.

- Communication skills:
The student must have the ability to communicate in a correct and specific way the knowledge of the subject even in written form.

- Learning skills.
it will need to be able to find information and knowledge autonomously using industry publications.

Assessment

1. Practical assessment of a routine designed by the candidate and described in written form in a technical language;
(this test can weigh in the final score from 1 to 3 points)

2. Written exam on the topics of the theoretical and practical program so structured;
     four questions answered openly, the candidate will be able to answer 3 of his choice. Each answer will be evaluated:
     knowledge, ability to understand and apply, expressive skills up to a maximum of 10 points for each answer

The time for the test is 50 minutes
