Learning Objectives
The course aims to highlight the methodological aspects, educational and related technical styles of swimming from the concept of child-person to reach the athlete agonist level.
Program
Assessment of skills and competencies in swimming activities; Specific study of the technique and styles for starts and turns
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
The expected results of the educational theory of the technique of swimming are those which invite the students to reflect upon what they have learnt in a personal and creative manner.
These abilities are not limited to the individual subject but also include essential methodological principles which may be utilized in various fields. In this way the students become capable of demonstrating maturity and a wider independent judgement.
For the teaching of this discipline, student participation in each lesson is essential not only to learn the technique of swimming, but also the educational methods of teaching this discipline and how to transmit the basic principles of swimming in a clear way.
In addition, student training experience enriches the learning process in an original and authentic way and permits deeper understanding of the previous mentioned principles.
Teaching Material
The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
