Learning Objectives
the course aims at giving the foundamental law skills, necessary for many works. The sports phenomenon is analyzed with regards to many aspects, valorizing principles, rules and law concepts foundamental to understand many national and international questions.
Program
Sport national context and its relationship with national context (law n. 280/03). sport international context.
Physical and law subjects in national sports context (physical subjects: athletes; trainers; athletic trainers and auxiliaries. Law subjects: Italian National Olympic Committee, national sports Federations, associated sports disciplines; sports promotion bodies; amateur sports associations and societies; professional clubs.
Sports subjects in international contexts (Olympic International Committee; international sports federations).
Membership (function; requirements also with regards underage and foreigners athletes; duties and rights coming from the membership).
affiliation (function; requirements; duties and rights coming from the affiliation).
sports offense (definition and function; the category of permitted risk; the sports discriminating)
the liability in the sport context (civil and criminal liability in the sport context; sport liability; yje liability of the athetes; the liability of the coach; the liability of the manager and of the race organizer.
the amateurism and professionalism.
the labour contract (assumptions; the object; the requirements; the discipline ex law n. 91/1981).
other contracts in the sport context (the contract of sponsorship and merchandising)
the national sports justice: assumptions and specificity (technical sport justice; economical, disciplinary and administrative sport justice; the Collegio di garanzia dello sport and the procura generale dello sport, the reform of italian sport justice, the code of italian sprt justice).
international sport justice (tribunal of sport arbitral).

Students must demonstrate to know elementary skills concerning: national and international sports context; sports liability; sport cntracts; doping (also with regard the national and international rules); national and international sports justice; fiscal aspects of sport.
students must demonstrate also to understand concepts explained during the course; they must be able to understand practical cases related to the issues explained during the course.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
