Learning Objectives
The course aims to provide students with the theoretical and methodological elements necessary for:
- Basic knowledge of general education;
- Understanding of the fundamental concepts of general pedagogy;
- Ability to use knowledge and concepts to reason according to the logic of general pedagogy.

- The "objects" of pedagogy;
- The methodology of educational research;
- The operational dimensions of pedagogy;
- Educational planning;
- Educational guidelines: objectives and methods;
- The system of training places;
- The age of education.

In relation to the student discipline, you will have: - Show the possession of the basic knowledge related to the main lines of the epistemological debate in the field of general education with particular reference to its constitutive elements (problems and methods) and to the relations with the other sciences of education; - Show an understanding of the theoretical and methodological approaches of education, recognizing the operational dimensions of pedagogy and its educational directions; - Show the possession of the ability to use knowledge and concepts that allow reasoning according to the specific logic of the discipline. He must be able, in particular, to be able to foresee pedagogical planning assumptions on specific problems.

The lessons and meetings, depending on the topics addressed, will be based on lectures during which students will be asked to reflect together with the teacher on specific nodes of the discipline.

- Assessment
Open rehearsal writing (short essay) seeks to establish the ability to use knowledge and concepts that allow reasoning according to the specific logic of the discipline, to identify and know how to use the appropriate theoretical and methodological approaches of the discipline, to envisage ultimately assumptions pedagogical design around specific problems.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
