Learning Objectives
GENERAL AIMS- B2 – Intermediate Level (COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE FOR LANGUAGES)
The course focuses on the main ideas of complex texts based on common and more abstract themes, including the discussion of specific themes in the area of interest. The student should be able to interact with a degree of fluency and ease in order to engage in a fairly natural interaction with native speakers without too much effort required on the part of the interlocuter. The student should be able to produce a clear and detailed text on a wide range of topics and explain his/her point of view explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each argument.
GRAMMAr CONTENT
- Spelling, articles, adverbs, connectives, pronouns, prepositions and verbs with prepositions, subordinate clauses, the subjunctive, conditionals, future, imperative, the passive form, indirect discourse, verbs of change, verbal periphrasis, idiomatic expressions.

WRITTEN EXAM:
There are three parts:
- Grammar: 14/30
- Reading comprehension: 8/30
- Written part: 8/30
The student must pass each part in order to pass the entire written exam.
ORAL EXAM:
- Listening test: 30/30
- Speaking test: 30/30
This programme is valid until January 2021
