Learning Objectives
The course “Degradomics in biomarker discovery - Proteases and Cytokines as promising biomarkers in laboratory medicine”, divided into two lessons of 2 hours/each, aims to provide the main information on the potential role of cytokines and proteases as biomarkers and therapeutic targets for a plethora of human diseases.
Program
The course encompasses basic information on the biomolecular aspects of cytokines and proteases, and highlights their main current applications in the field of the Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine.

The course will allow to learn the functions of Cytokines and Proteases as main diagnostic-prognostic biomarkers, to improve the knowledges in the Laboratory Medicine field.
